CMD Navigator
For my graduation project, I designed CMD Navigator, a mobile-first guide for first-year CMD students at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Information was spread across learning platforms, Teams, slides, and conversations, making it difficult to understand how the program fit together.
I interviewed students, teachers, and coordinators, reviewed existing resources, and explored different concepts. I developed a Figma prototype with connected study-block pages, a visual map of the program, search, and saved content. Usability tests helped me clarify the navigation, simplify competency explanations, and make pages easier to scan.
Students understood the main flows and valued the study-block pages, Compass, example work, and related terms. The final deliverables were an interactive prototype and design rationale, with recommendations for managing the content. The project helped me see how much value a clear structure can add to information that already exists.
